It's not a restriction when you understand his circumstances. Chaldea's Sieg true form isn't as a homunculus, it is as a dragon. Chaldea Sieg is basically a burei/offshoot to Fafnir Sieg, so his NP of turning into a dragon is just him regaining his true form temporally. As for turning into Siegfried, he can still do that through a skill of his. It is still limit by the time limit but he can still do it. His attack animations is basically him turning into Siegfried for his Busters and Extra

Armor of Fanfir defends on a regular B level with B+ for nps right? Unlike something like Godhand that blocks all thing B ranked. So working with C np = A-A+ Attack, GB should get through. And with GB's doing thrust damage + max HP damage, it should be fatal.
No that wouldn't work. You can't use an NP and have it play out as a normal attack. If an NP is used against AoF the rank that will be checked is the NP rank. Not the damage rank.

Does Gae Bolg follow the path of least resistance? We see it bend funny, but it doesn't shoot through people's eyeballs or gaps in Saber's armor or whatnot.
