Alternative Gils tend to be more dangerous than normal Gil most of the time since Gil has his ego.

That said the best Gil is still the original, and it's a good thing to remember that "Humans made it"=="Prototype of some kind is in the gate" and that Caster Gil is a thing.

Actually I was thinking how ko-gil, someone who explicitly actually looks through the vault to find what he needs as opposed to the adult version who can’t be bothered to organize his own shit, still has a fundamental weakness he can’t overcome in the form of the amount of mana he can utilize at once. This means he either doesn’t have a phantasm to fix that, or he does and it’s not good enough to actually solve it

Even in FGO it was stated he was weaker, that the strongest attack he can do is Gil's normal sword wave because of mana constraints
