Yeah, but by actual performance the one time we see it used the soldiers didn't actually seem that far above human. They were just described as though they were elites, not HS level like Iskander's guys. Maybe if the battlefield was more favorable to him it would have gone better, but then you're tilting the match towards Leonidas.
Only one that's been called that, but maybe if it's not a Unique Term the pool would be wider. In any case, "grail" looks like the catch-all for "wish-granter" but the wish-granting aspect here is just one of the characteristics of a divine child.

Pitting a Caster against someone with EX magic resistance doesn't seem very fair. I get that it's Da Vinci and she probably has some other stuff to work with but I can't see it really making much of a difference.

How much of what Da Vinci does is actually 'magic' though? She's basically an affirmative action-Caster that only got put in the Class because she isn't a natural fit for anything else.
