Hi, first post, and general newcomer to the overall extended Type Moon franchise beyond Fate Stay Night.
Started watching Encore, plan on playing extra, and I was wondering where the Moon Cell came from, and who made it?

Sorry, I wasn't being specific. What I meant was if there was any other outside works beyond just Extra, CCC, and Extella that deal with the Mooncell and its mechanics.
Thought about using the wikia but I heard its very unreliable.

Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechnically Last Encore though it really doesn't dive into the alien stuff.
Yeah, ya see, FGO is a gacha game so chances are I'll never touch it, purely on the basis its a gacha game.
The alien stuff isn't all that important if I'm honest, its a decent enough explanation that doesn't need too much thought to be spent on it.
Last Encore is alright, though I'm thinking I'll hold off on watching the whole show until I finish playing extra.

I also don't mind "aliens" as the explanation, but I don't like how vague "aliens" are.
They could at least give some hint who these aliens that was to observe shit and then make velber were.

Deens Fate was a horrible conglomeration of all three routes. Plus the animation is dated to all hell. Even the fact it came out in 2006 isnt an excuse.
FMA 03 has aged really well and it came out 3 years prior.
Deen Stay Night had nothing from HF and only Caster stuff from UBW, so whatever failings it had, did not really come from trying to adapt multiple routes.
Las Encore is just as bad or perhaps worse than Fate Deen in the animation department
