There is some interesting bits in Hollow that are either poorly explored or just barely hinted at that could be given better exposition. And that isn't even me talking about the Sakura/Dilo and her training bits. Things like the Servants getting used to life in Fuyuki for instance, Rin teaching Shirou how to make her crest suppression medicine that is supposed to signify the trust she has in him.

Just a lot of good nuggets for getting to know the characters while also having the intrigue of telling us Bazett's story with Avenger. It gives a chance to really intimately know these characters without the confines of their roles in a War, so I think it's got worth just for that.
Do you think each episode for an Ataraxia anime would possibly be some of the little event arcs, like Shirou going on the pool dates for example?

I'm inclined to agree with everyone stating how it is simply too troublesome to be adapted and as such will never be

But we're in the Age of Fate, it's absolutely happening after Heaven's Feel is done.

Even though I love Emiya gohan I have to agree with this, I know it's supposed to be a cooking spin-off but I'd rather have more scenes with side stories/interactions than food recipes lol

Maybe the one with everyone, but not the individual ones. I'd say they would put more character driven stuff to put lore babble in it.
And just like with Emiya Gohan, put enough of their spin on it to round it into something you can make an episode out of. Ufotable are TM fans after all.

The ones with Ayako? I forget does she show some interest in Shirou in Ataraxia?

Do you figure episodes should be more character driven, like looking at the various little side-stuffs or would you say it's better to focus on the main-story of finding out about the 4-day loops?

A few years ago I would have said there's no way they'd adapt a fan disk of all things but now after doing Emiya Cooking, Carnival Phantasm and Prisma Illya sure why not whatever

Doujins are not my cup of tea but considering stay night's original content they are inevitable lol, I wouldn't personally read them but from what I've heard/read they have some nice side stories.

if you enjoy SOL with Fate orinal cast, maybe you could enjoy it. Just seachr for "One day Fate doujin" . The artist was a big Ayako fan, so she have noticeable more screen time than the source material

I'd say the episode starts out light and cheerful, things are slightly off every so often, and then the end of the episode is night, and they try to progress.

Hopefully that would allow for the exploration of various side stories.

How long would episodes be you figure? Standard 30 minutes?

I checked some chapters out and it was really nice! I particularly enjoyed the chapters about the fireworks and the wish for the lottery win. Thank you for the suggestion!

That would definitely be the best since it would comprehend both sides of hollow ataraxia, maybe around 15 minutes for each part

Would 30 minutes be enough time for good explorations of both sides?

I think so, if they make an adaptation they’ll probably go with 24/25/26 episodes as usual for fate/ stuff. Maybe in the beginning they would focus more on the sol scenes and in the last episodes they would focus more on the time loop.

How about two series. Once side slice of life fun, the other the serious story. Series A would be long running maybe even lower effort squishier budget and art style. Series B would be infrequent and be UFO serious style. And crossover eps when things get trippy (with conspicuous animation upgrade when A has more serious scenes).

Series A ending could be epilogue and Series B ending would be the finale.

I'd rather they do a split like that for FGO, like they did for touken ranbu splitting into 'hanamaru' and 'katsugeki'. Just daily shenanigans of various servants in one, and the actual FGO story in another.

This could be a nice idea, so both sides of the game would be explored in a proper way.
This makes me wonder, what if emiya gohan is already the series with the fluffy slice of life setting? Even though it’s supposed to be a series on its own the setting still reminds of hollow ataraxia.
