Look at BnHA and SAO for reference. Shounen tend to be popular, create some people who become anti to them. It's just usual stuff. Fans just need to drown them in some another form of discussion so they won't go to surface

The bias to ufo fate is just too strong. Some people don't want to admit that few last fights in Apoc are much better than whatever ufo fate have done before HF. Unfortunately that's the only saving grace of Apoc, which have nothing to do with the studio choice (even if it was ufo, I doubt they'll do much better)

CasGil actually annoys me slightly more than his archer self actually, though I love all Gils
I dont think people prefer ufo because of some ufo loyalty, its because their approach is very pop. Constantly on model, big explosions, sick effects, grand setpieces and cool and dark atmosphere with lots of blue and fog. Their insane amount of polish is easy on the eye and universally appealing.
