Probably because it doesn’t do jack shit beyond making him look like he’s doing SOMETHING to contribute in most of cases. Also it looks more like the same nondescript generic laser beam Waver did in Case Files than it does Gandr, not that I can be sure.

Also why’d they namedrop Harpe now all of a suddenly when they were being so vague about it before. Just for more oomph?

you can't compare in game gandr with it's actual power. MC's gandr can only be used for distraction because it's so weak.

of course in the game gandr can even stun bosses.

I really hope that Beast preview wasn't Primate Murder. I don't know what I would expect for its look other than a gigantic canine type animal, but what I saw there wasn't something I like on this first limited viewing. :|

I always had this hazy image of primate murder as a really big, buff white doge, and when FGO introduced Fou I just copypasted that tail on the mental image.

That was just regular Fou fluffing his tail up though, his form didn't change at all.

Fou did not go full doggo when resurrecting Mashu. He just unleashed all magic energy he saved up through tail growth (similar to the Golden Fox's tails). So the pokemon has a high chance to be full doggo mode Fou.

Well of the Beast we know, this dog like design is the more accurately regarding Fou.

The only Beast that are missing are MAYBE Tamamo? a multi-tails fox, the Beast of Revelation that is a multi-headed dragon (TM lore and real life lore) with MAYBE Nero or Manaka atop and the VII that is probably Angra again because #Humanity.

Oh, I actually imagined him like that too, and I don't even know what gives me that impression, his description with the 27 DAA maybe? is a lot vague. This seems to size like to 2m at best, but well, it is irrelevant in the face of his Authority. Well, my worst fear was that his actual form was going to be a wolf loli or some shit like that, so gladly I will take this to more years of nothing.

Gorgon death was super fast and Ana didn't even say Caress of the Medusa, smh.

The Lahmu yukking it up in the face of human suffering and despair was great though, give me more of that. I smiled when the happy go lucky idiots of Team Chaldea helped Gil deal with one of his many conflicts between king and man; pity they were too late but it was a nice moment.

Episode 14: I guess Gorgon must be really lethargic, being a snake and all, this is the second time she's allowed the Chaldea crew to go through a multi-minute conversation without so much as stirring. Ana a qt.

EDIT: Hmmm. Upon rereading the relevant chapter in-game, there's actually quite a lot of subtle changes in meaning and context between translations, especially in Merlin and Ana's monologues. I wonder, is that a translation thing or is the anime's script slightly different.

double EDIT: Yeah, there are definitely small, but significant changes here, like the corridor scene being hurried along by Kingu's imminent arrival, Gorgon's speech, and Ana's sacrifice (actually saving everyone from the Temple's collapse instead of just diving for no reason). Fujimaru ordering Ishtar ahead instead of her taking the initiative on her own is another big one.

The anime OST is out, and it's good.
There's also the cool battle music from the start of episode 0 in there, so bonus points for that.

EDIT: Apparently the best tracks from episode 0 are in there. So yeah, really good.

Mine is the that the SFX are ungodly high. You make the one big shot of the fight scene break the BGM, not every shot.
