I really like this design.
i hope it actually has an impact on the story
>new Mystic Code
You mean the one that da Vinci made for him to survive the Singularity in the first place?
Nah, that's now new. That's being faithful to the story.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
It's nice that they went out of their way to give him a new mystic code though, the default outfit looks so plain on him.
And with all this new info, they might actually release a pv tomorrow, I'm excited!
Wonder if they’re gonna try to make Gudao more active, like have him actually use command spells and mystic code abilities. 99.9% certain we wont see him use any chaldea servants though.
yes. The entire part 1 is like we only make contract with stray servants in that era
The whole summon servant thing from chaldea in the main story only happen in the lostbelt and EOR

They pretty explicitly tell Guda to summon servants with certain characteristics from time to time. Like in Murrica VS Karna I think it was Geronimo who told Guda to take out servants with strong NPs.
Isn't that the whole point of setting up the magic circle we always do? To summon our servants?
Yes, but they never been in the story.
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
Here they're gonna have to make the decision of whether or not to include Guda using his servant summons during fights because they actually have to show what happens instead of handwaving it with gameplay.
Yes this is gonna be hard for them... ugh... Pretty sure they already decide

Someone (maybe You? Probably You. Sorry if I'm misquoting you, You!) said that the Servants you summon in battle are basically like pokémons in that they're manifested for the fighting, but then immediately go back to their pokéballs - which explains why they don't have any story impact.

That said, for both Camelot and Babylonia, I think it would be best to focus entirely on the Servants already in the Singularity.
Yeah, they explain that in Shimosa.
The part 1 manga aren't doing this though, only the Shimosa manga took advantage of it, so who knows, they could just cut the summoning circle set up scene.
Feel like thats something that really should’ve been clarified in fuyuki or france.
but yeah, in the anime I think the smartest move would be sticking to story servants only.
oh there is summoning scene, cool
Eh, the colors feel kinda flat to me on everyone not named gil for some reason. It’s not bad, but i’m suddenly not as i excited as i thought i would be.
