    The people complained about the change of the original comedy tone of a certain scene to a more serious tone in the anime. Also not having a scene that only works for the comedy.

    imho it will be something like Gorgon's final fight, but a bit longer (so a lot a movement, maybe everyone fighting with a Lahmu, Gramps tearing some of them apart, going up and up until Gil finishes her with Ea or something)

    That's a good looking preview, and I hope the episode follows. This is the last breather until the final battles, which will take up the last three episodes.


    Going by the pacing, I'm predicting:

    Quetz uses Piedra del Sol and may be put out of commission by this or the next episode

    Episode 19 should end with Kingu chaining Tiamat.

    Episode 20 will be the bulk of the underworld fight

    Episode 21 will be Gil's return and the epilogue.

    They definitely have the time. The last episodes are just spectacles, content-wise. If they don't try to animate some personal aspect of Tiamat, they have no excuse besides not wanting to. Which is dumb, as you've said. Think I see some Ishtar/Mash original scenes in that preview already.
