Ix is broken yeah thanks to overray and stuff like Shredding Talons. No gMA is not a problem usually.

Raine would be your other best healer since she's one of the few characters in the game with healing circle but Mileena works fine. Her weapon that you can buy in the Exclipse shop is really good since it's an actual spell 4* and not those terrible physical artes they gave her.

They may have failed Kohaku in her melee department but seeing her juggling enemies with Burn Strike and Explode is fun. Hisui i've seen videos of his ranged artes and they look pretty fun but i don't have them so he's stuck on healing duty and casting Air Thrust on the side.

I don't like using Sara tbh. She jumps a lot and makes it hard to see her combo timings. Haven't tried her out again now that i have her 4*

Too bad I didn't get her Healing Circle. Just gonna stick with Mileena for now I suppose.

Stepup gacha gave me like 2 5* Velvet, 5* Swimsuit Milla, and 2 5* Tear among other of their weapons. No GMA but I guess Tear and Velvet're unlocked now, I suppose...Reminds me of how bad my 1st year FGO gacha luck is hm.

Also managed to LB Ix's Shredding Talon and Obliteration Surge, so not all is lost.

Ugh, now i kinda want to roll in the stepup gacha too since my Tear is lacking in 4* weapons but i already have too much of everyone else. Not expecting new gMAs that's for sure. Tear should also have Healing Circle.
Remember that you can use prisms to buy any weapon you want in the store, if you're not interested in costumes.

Well the thing is, I only got Flame Rush for Tear. Why do I keep being denied of Healer game. Conflicted whether to try to gather diamonds again to do another stepup, hm. I really need to bolster my battle power somehow (currently at 9k), and getting a gMA would really help.

Prism are a bit out of my reach atm, unfortunately.

In the meantime, I guess I'll unlock Ix's Overray first so I can progress with the challenge.

There's literally a gacha banner on right now with only Milla, Velvet, Tear, and Ix, containing both their normal gMAs and seasonal sMAs (and Milla's summer 5-star, which is her best arte). Full rolls only, so 200 dias per pop. Perfect time for you to reroll.

The enhanced version happens when you manage to make consecutive arte chains. In Yuri's case it happens if you activate it as the 6th or more in a combo.

I think 6th in chain is the standard for basically all of them.

Gotcha. Guess I'll do the story in the meantime then.

Power rush that story until AT LEAST chapter 6 or 7 to unlock the Overray mechanic for Ix. Basically this game's version of command seals, but for Ix only.

Seeing the boss challenge quests, I just realized that Lailah event also had the Exp Carnival thing which I didn't try at all thinking it was not event related. Regret.

In the future, make sure to prioritize at least one run of each level of carnival when it's up over anything else. 16 dias per carnival set is great, even ignoring anything else it gives.

-Dash artes that let you dodge and gives you invincibility frames are king. Look them up and try to enhance them. Also look for artes that have Iron Stance break attributes. They make bosses easier.

Personally, the only dash attack I like is Shredding Talons. The rest feel too clunky.

Iron Stance break is my #1 priority, personally. For this, Ix and Asbel are king. Alisha is queen.

Guess I'll try the stepup gacha after I got enough diamonds.

Ix is amazing, and I'd HIGHLY recommend getting him a real Mystic Arte for Overray reasons. Ever since I got one for him a few months back the challenge quests have gotten immensely easier.

I was denied healers for like 3 months too. All I had was Mileena and Meredy. Then all of a sudden I got inundated with more healers than I know what to do with. My best/favorite atm is Elize. Nurse is sooooooo good.

Yeah I almost finished chapter 4 right now. Should be able to unlock Overray in 2 days or so.

Hopefully I can get his gMA via one more 3 steps. Or Healing Circle.

5* move activation differs for each arte and you can check them while pausing and looking at the arte tab of a character. But yeah 5 is the usual number.

The best part about him is that Overray scales to your MA. So if you have the Arc 2 gMA or the oMA (I believe both have an MG cost of 150 rather than the standard 100), using Overray still gives you enough to insta-fire it.

This combos stupid well with a Mithos support, since his gMA pulls all enemies to a single spot.

Well another 3 stepups finally got me a Velvet's sMA and another Velvet and Kocis 5*. Shame I didn't get ix/Kocis' MA or Healing Circle (wtf game). Think I've tried enough for the stepup and will just make do with what I have.

Well shoot, have you been spending dias only on the steups? At least you got something finally. Healing Circle is just one weapon among many 4* weapons so aiming for it here wasn't that reliable anyways.

If you're still desperate for healers you can go rerun Milla/Elize or Arche/Mint. Elize is a dark magic nuke and also has healing circle (need to fish it with the rerun's own shop tickets) or nurse (need prisms for this). Mint is great support and Nurse is an AoE heal and you get it guaranteed from the shop.

Or you can wait for Asbel/Cheria rerun who has both the stupidly powerful dps character in the game and a member of the H.Circle quartet.

Probably Asbel/Cheria. Heard Asbel is stupid good as long as it's not AI.

Not really desperate, but CQ is just ggwp with only Mileena as healer lol. Efreet stronk.

Asbel is arguably the best unit in the game. The only ones who can be argued against him are Ix/Kocis, Mithos, and Ludger (and this is literally only if you have his oMA).

I definitely recommend trying to get a Nurse unit though, as Nurse is sooooooooo much better than every other healing move. If I recall, the main users are Elize, Cheria, and Mint.

Ugh, so tired of this event. Getting really fed up with this "Farm 40 AP missions with variable difficulties due to asinine enemy selections and hope the AI doesn't screw things up" stuff. Just been autoing the 20ap for most of the event. Sadly, not sure the next event will be much more interesting, since it'll be focused on the Kannononononononos. Those have lately had the annoying ass robots as enemies.

Better enemy selection for farming, please.

Managed to get Sorey, dupe Yuri,and Kocis' gMA from the Sorey banner. Really stoked that I somehow managed to nab Kocis' gMA (main reason why I rolled). Finally, I will be able to taste power. I can prob clear the Challenges now, yay.

New story gacha had no Alisha so i rolled my dias on the stepup and got Milla's sMA which is nice.
No wait the new story gacha has all overray MAs released so far uhhh. Getting one would be a pain though with those FGO-tier rates.

Managed to clear all Challenge Quest. Boy Challenge 45 was really hard. Had to save scum a lot and even the final try ended up boils down to Talon vs Sylph. Never again.

Victory tickets gave me weapons of characters that I don't have. G-great.

Well compared to the previous set of challenge quests this one was kinda easier. Previous set of challenges is blue anima instead of rainbow and Undine is such a scummy AoE spamming hoe who will kill you in seconds if you let her finish a spell. Had to leave the last 3 quests alone ;_;

Now to wait for Kanonno event.
