Guda has some dorky dialogue options but I definitely would not call it a developed personality.
Yeah, I didn't really get nerd outside of the Prillya event and the occasional option to sympathize with Roman. Admittedly, I started after the Christmas event, so I haven't read the dialogue for it, Halloween, GUDAGUDA or Setsubun.
Is that unpopular?
The best animated Emiya fight is Illya vs Saber Alter in Prisma.
I'm not sure that's unpopular since I've heard it expressed before.
Maybe this place should be called the disagreeable TM opinion thread instead

That is actually a pretty moderate and well-reasoned stance on Tokiomi and one I am inclined to agree with, even if I will say he was genuinely concerned for Rin and Sakuras' well-being and futures in his own way, and I think it's stated that Rin's kindness comes from him, so under the right circumstances, he could very well be surprisingly humane.

That says quite a lot, and that lot is super depressing.
oh, i already mentioned that fic that portrayed him so villanous that i couldnt get into it at all
The best nau dad is maybe freakin kerry, thats says a lot, lol
The story of Tokiomi is of a guy that made a lot of wron choices and trusted worng people. He trusted Zouken, he trusted Kirei, he choose a servant that never respected him and betrayed him, etc
Have him summoning someone maybe less powerful, but still a decent servant combat wise, and less of an egomaniac, lets say a Chiron, maybe things would have turned better . But i guess Chrion or any proud warrior would be kinda disgusted of his cowardicy and tactics, just like Gil was, but wihout the betrayal part . Hey, Iskandar called Kayneth a coward, but a least he was always at the battlefield with Lancer
I feel Diarmuid would actually have been a better partner for Tokiomi than he would have been for Kayneth.
hehe, what we do with Aoi and the freakin spot. Does she loved tokiomi so much that she would not fall. Diarmuid is bindly loyal, but i would not summon the guy if i was a married man.But you are right about the loyalty part
Other one , some people say Sakura story is to over the top and thus lacks realism and relatability. Come on, the whole novel is anything but realistic. Lest take our MC, realistically, he should go for therapy to deal with his PTS and then became a cop, a firefighter, a doctor or anyting where he could help people, not dreamin about superhero stuff , but he does, and its ok because it makes sense in his fictional settin
