I'd much rather it not be seen on-screen (though it doesn't matter as much if it's produced with the mindset that the viewer will have already seen Zero, UBW and HF), but if they ever animate Fate, there's no way they'll pass up on showing the fight.

There's plenty of fights to go around. I found it better in keeping with the dire tone to omit the fight and instead focus on the retreat than to have a big action setpiece. Plus, I think it takes a little away from the fight that follows it.

Point taken. At least maybe a cutaway to part of the fight as opposed to the full fight, kind of like how Fate proper does it?

Also here might be an unpopular opinion here but I'm okay with the increased fanservice in the Prisma Illya anime.

I'm just annoyed by the artstyle of the studio. Makes me kind of wish ufotable was doing it.

Another one: I actually prefer their artstyle. I don't like the overly rigid art we've gotten from UFO and to be honest I am sick of UFO this, UFO that in the anime world.

If I wanted the Standard Oil of anime, I would've gone with pre-Yona Pierrot...

I'd say there's an appeal in Characters that will never get along. While different people ship things differently, my love of Gil X Saber is mostly in the interest of seeing them never back down, never give into one another, and never get along. Essentially, there's absolutely no point in my affection of the pairing if they fix eachother if Saber couldn't even fix her canonical soulmate. I just find all the hate sex scenarios amusing

A series, but with some of the cooking/hanging around the Emiya household scenes condensed.

Honestly, i don't care which one it is as long as they do it,TV series, OVA series or Movie series. I feel like its very important. Also, i'm not too fussed about the fuzziness between the remake and rewritten aspect. I would be equally satisfied to see Nasu go ham with a new scenario detatched from the limitations of the original scenario, as long as certain core tenants remain.

As for HF being a movie...i feel like it being HF made it something that was inevitable to be movies, you get higher production values and less need to take restraint into account. Granted we're far away from the days when movies could get a way with certain things, but they are still able to push the boat out further than a TV series.
