shinji should've been the main character of f/sn

^ Not gonna lie, if handled correctly that could've been more interesting than Shirou's character arc.

I refer you to Shinji/stay night (NSFW).
berserker is the most boring fsn character not rider
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.

Superhero is fine. Better than "ally of justice", even.
The term mirrormoon used as a translation for seigi no mikata.
He had a pretty cool intro that gave some good depth in U/C.
Its unfortunately pretty under the radar.
Its the sentiment that bothers me, Medusa isn't much different than any of the other Servant's attachments. The whole reason she is attached to Sakura is part atonement and partially projecting herself with someone she relates with.[Rider is awesome, specially in HA , and she have a lot of scenes that dont have anything to do with Sakura. But your first sentence nailed it, i think, people who dislike Sakura maybe will dislike her as side effect
Superhero doesn't work because of the implications it has. A superhero from a western perspective is different from the Ally of Justice trope. I think I wrote on this before when I talked about Touga from Zetman as a good example. The term mirrormoon used as a translation for seigi no mikata.
"Fate/stay night: not really an eroge, and not really a cooking sim, but actually an RPG wherein everyone’s primary stat is “self-loathing” and the goal is to level it up beyond all the other characters."
Arashi and Mew also explained the specific connotations of seigi no mikata, using Kamen Rider as example, and I understand them; but I would argue that the term "superhero" comes close enough, particularly when those specific connotations are covered by the text.
I am pretty amazed at the number of people that like Shinji but unironically around these neighborhoods...
