Well, the point is being succinct... If Spartans made poetry, they'd probably pioneer Haiku before the mighty Yamato people did...

    "The sun... shining strong,
    over soaring clouds and skies,
    clears the hero's path"

No rhyming, but there's a rhythm to it.

But Spartans did make poetry. Pausanias frequently mentions Cinaethon, for instance.

Endemic poetry, not adopting the Athenian/Attican forms. The terseness of their language would've lent itself well for short, scathing poetry, which is essentially what Haiku are supposed to be.

It is a noble thing for a brave man to die,
Falling in the front ranks, doing battle for the fatherland.
But for a man to forsake his city and his rich fields
And to go begging is of all things the most grievous
As he wanders with his dear mother and his aged father,
With his small children and his lawful, wedded wife.
For he is hated by those among whom he goes as a suppliant
    Yielding to need and loathsome penury;
He disgraces his lineage; he refutes his splendid appearance,
And every dishonor and evil follows in his train.
Now if no heed is paid to a wandering man
And neither reverence nor regard nor pity is his,
Let us then fight with spirit for our land and children
And let us die, not sparing our lives

There's nothing wrong with Nero except her creator and the scenes she's appeared in.

Oh, and that moronic transparent dress window. It's like somebody in the company wanted Artoria's decent-looking dress-armour-thing, but somebody else wanted panty shots, the artist was indecisive, and then failed to make either look good.

I liked Nero for about 10 minutes when Extra was first a thing, then literally everything else happened

I can't speak for Extra, but Nero is good in Extella and Last Encore.

I think Extella is Nero at her worst but I donb't know how much of that is Nero herself and how much is the unnecessary amount of bedroom scenes, because I also think Extella is Tamamo at her worst.
