So yeah, if he just gatherd up what he could and present it to someone in the Association/Church and instead of being a "Tokiomi, why you sell children?" issue (which most mages would be okay with) it becomes "Tokiomi, as the Second Owner of Fuyuki, what are you going to do about the dangerous Vampire living a block from your house?".

But isn't the issue there that it sort of openly (on the supernatural side I mean), shit on Tokiomi and possibly offending his pride or whatever, instead of discretely informing him of the fact Zouken reneged on their deal and is actually a mass of blood sucking/flesh consuming leeches?

Apoc's third war went differently than FSN's, so maybe the Tohsaka/Edelfet relationship is better there. Especially since the Apoc Tohsakas are doing kung fu magecraft instead of cribbing off the Edelfet's gemcraft.

But how can their relationship somehow be better in Apocrypha when apparently an Edelfelt still marries into the Tohsaka and the original issues that Luvia complains to Rin about in their first meeting ("Oh you're from that family of magi who scam everyone as part of that fake ritual, including us!"), that apparently the older sister grandmother told her family and descendants, still probably apply even with the Grail being stolen there?

Also I don't understand what gets the Apoc Tohsaka to focus more on their original martial arts vs the gem magic Rin & Tokiomi use primarily in Stay Night timelines.

Wild guess, but its harder to complain about fuyuki grail being a scam in a world where every joe shmoe mage makes his own shittier copy to the point that the high tier mage population gets completely wiped out participating in exploding grail battle royales

As for kung fu instead of gem magic... Dunno if tohsakas gem magic inclinations are mostly cuz of Zel or stealing part of the edelfelt crest.. maybe in apo,they didnt get the gem magic part of the crest.( Or the author just made them different for the sake of being different,without any actual thought put into it like is usual for AU's)

If memory serves, "use kung fu to join the root" was Tohsaka Sr. 's MO, which was part of the reason Zelretch took a liking to him to the point of making him his disciple. Thus, Tohsaka focusing more on her martial art is probably something of a return to form/way to compete against Luvia, since they're apparently closer in that universe than the SN one.
