    I guess it depends on your personal definitions and the scans you're looking at, but I'd say Medea tends to have enough red that she could be described as heavily blueish-purple (if you google periwinkle, you get a pretty similar range of colors - some blueish-purple and some pure blue), and Medusa is light purple inclined to pink.
