According to what she says in HA, apparently the mana cost to use her eyes is as much for her to use Bellorphon. So it is an NP in of itself, so she can't spam it from the look like.

Well, yeah, but that's the Watsonist perspective. From a Doylist perspective the problem persists because to change a near unsurmountable antagonist/obstacle into a relatable possible ally that can't win the war on her own you still have to hamper her down instead of using a comparable character who was less broken in the first place.

though seriously, has anyone read Japanese doujin and hentai. It’s a joke parody of that. If there’s a problem anywhere then it has to do with that in general. Also the fact that as nerds they will talk about nerd stuff, like porn.

There's nothing inherently wrong with making jokes about a trope in anime porn. If it was just that the interlude would just be badly written, because it isn't funny.
But then the character actually looks like they came out of a doujin, even outside of this badly written joke interlude, so it's just embarrassing to read because it's real and she's still here and her design is still trash.
But then you remember that this character actually has a traumatic past that includes rape, and is oblivious to the two making jokes about rape doujin around her, and that one of the characters doing that is supposed to be you, and it all becomes just uncomfortable, it's almost like no one thought about what was actually being written there.

Which is true, it's an early Boudica interlude and the writers don't care because no one cares about Boudica and they think no one cares about the writing.

So I'm not saying it's a social issue or anything because it's not actually real so who cares. I'm saying that Boudica is a bad character—not a good character with a bad design—,no one respects her because of her design, not even her writers, and it shows.

Yup. IIRC it comes up in Hollow too. Sakura gets all Jealous over Shirou spending so much time just sitting and reading with Rider (because it's a Rider scene and thus of course it's all about Sakura)

Well, she is normally cool and collected, it's just her sisters that normally trigger the spaghetti out of her.
Kinda makes sense with them being total sadists. The only other "quirky" bit was being super horny in Ayako's presence.


Other than that she is pretty much like the onee-san of the group. I mean hell, give her some credit, of the Servants, she is one of the few that holds a normal job in peacetime pretty well.

I mean looking at the Servants there though:

FA and Berserker are out, since they can't actually do anything (Herk is insane, FA is stuck) EMIYA is busy fulfilling Rin's duties as Second Owner in her stead, Cu has like, all the Jobs, and Gil runs a Water Park.

So the only ones that don't work are Medea the Houswife and the King of Neets.

My complaint was less about her reaction and more about how almost every single Rider scene in Hollow is actually a Sakura scene in disguise because somebody obviously realised that she got the least screentime of the Heroines in F/SN and decided to overcompensate by just shoving her into everything in F/HA
