I wonder if he's acquainted with Mike Hawk.
In other news, I'm in love with Doug & Kirill. It's a slightly weird return to the Tiger & Bunny setting, but sure as hell not an unwelcome one.

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
Anyway, watched first episode of Index 3 yesterday. Might be an aftereffect of how LONG we've been waiting for this, but that opening hyped the shit out of me.
in fact, here you go, enjoy
ITEM, GROUP, BLOCK and the rest, Terra the clown, the princesses and Queen of British Halloween, Aqua of the BACK THE FUCK UP vs Kanzaki, Acqua vs Knight Commander, the Amakusans, Mugino, Accel vs Kakine... holy shit this season is gonna be great. Not much to say about the actual episode, it got through the requisite "Touma's life sucks" gags and packed Touma to Avignon pretty neatly. Misaka warming up to unleash the Vending Machine Kick might be the highlight of the episode, along with Imagine Breaker getting a nifty new sound to go with.

Don't expect Uzamaid to get more wholesome or less lolicon. The author has done loli hentai manga. It's OK if it doesn't though. Not everything has to be for general audiences. Sometimes you're just aiming to please a niche. And that's OK. I won't go further into this discussion, just popped up to inform people who seem unaware of the author's past works

Spoiler:
DINO GETTER,FUCK YESS
Spoiler:
seasonal Kirara anime, this time it's cheerleading.
now they have excuses to do a lot of Kirara jump.
Index 3: I’m not completely sure why but the first episode was so unengaging that I could barely pay attention to it.
Xuan Yuan Sword: This will probably be a train wreck. Pacing is inconsistent, narrative shifts on a dime, and the animation being all over the damn place. Can’t say I’m not interested though. EDIT: Studio Deen. Explains a lot.
SAO 3: I was actually engaged by the first half and it’s attempt to world build. Then the second half remunded me I’m watching SAO.

Release the spyce, ep.1.
The show got my interest only for several seconds, and then it was 20 minutes of looking at uninspired kids' show. Talented tongue moments, obviously.
Yagate/Bloom- I'm surprised at Yuu. Her voice doesn't quite fit what I had in mind, and she's a lot less emotive in the manga, but I'm gonna wait for more before I judge.
Seems like a pretty good first episode so far, though.

All the Anime Part 2:
Double Decker: Not bad but it dosn't grab me either. It's a less interesting Canann. I'll finish up the available episodes but might not keep up on it.
Jingai-san no Yome: A three minute episode which is half a walk to school and half an OP/ED. A whole lot of nothing.
Reincarnation Slime: Who runs down a road after a crime, with a knife in stabbing position but no target? I feel for MC though, no-one wants someone they love to find their hard drive. The Slime is cute, but everything after he wakes up feels like random power handouts for no reason, and that's kind of dull. But Tsundere Dragon saved it for me.
Space Fishing: What? Just, what?
Bunny Girl: Like Monogatari without the meta and the SHAFT. It's intriguing enough to keep up on for now.
Sword Luminary: No seriously, What?
Jeanne and Alchemist: That ED did more to intrigue me than the 22 minutes before it. Not a good sign.
Honda-san: It was alright but not super funny. At elast it didn't overstay its welcome.
Zombieland: Ummm whatcha say... This is great. Fucking MAPPA. So goddamn weird.
Himote House: Ugh. This looks worse than season 1 RWBY. Really strangely edited too. Like everything needs to be as fast as it can.
Bakumatsu: This is Fujo bait, right? That's why everyone is so fabulous and has no idea that a shirt should cover a midriff?

Maid show has a fantastic ED. Let's all get swole, everybody.
Also, are we not gonna talk about the fact that, through info via Doug & Kirill, that the Tiger & Bunny setting doesn't even take place on Earth? Because that kinda floored me a bit. Two suns, different continents. Here's to all of us who thought that Sternbilt was merely just a made-up city in the vein of Metropolis and Gotham.

I don't think that Tiger & Bunny and Double Decker take place in the same world.
Spoiler:
Food porn, Lenin and a house full of taxidermized people.
Yep, it's Golden Kamuy all right. All that's missing is the bears.

Index was... awkward. Awkwardly paced, awkwardly introduced, awkwardly animated.
I really hope that only the first episode or two are going to remain that way.

That SAO episode was trying. I can buy him being a world so real he dosn't realize somethings up. But not needing a popup menu to eat lunch out of stasis but it still spoiling while there. And that bit about the soul being nerve responses really pissed me of. Then there's the assassination attempt which managed to somehow deliver a fast acting drug through two layer of clothing, into the shoulder, and Kirito deciding to use his longer range weapon to stab the guys leg instead of the chest, or just knocking his arm aside or something. An umbrella is nowhere close to a sword but it's at least a minor bludgeon.
