Double Decker Episode 4: I laughed when they skipped over Kirill and Derrick's meeting. So Esperanza isn't the name of a person, but of an organization. And that Bamboo Man isn't using Anthem to make himself so strong either, he nearly killed Doug and Kirill. But the biggest thing is the twist at the end. This was an amazing episode.

This Jojo's episode was the hypest shit, Giorno's gimmick is already way more entertaining than the two previous JoJos and I absolutely love the track that played at the end.

I gave the dub of Zombieland a go, just to see how they did things and it was pretty good. They managed to keep Kotoro as a a sarcastic over-the-top screamlord, and everyone but maybe Sakura is good to great (she's a bit flat though). Then they get to the Rap scenes and they just switch to Japanese audio and subtitles. Except for the cop, who stays in English. Can no-one on the cast sing? Is there just not enough time to get re-written english lyrics together in time for the week behind dub? Are they just doing it for shits and giggles?

Sheesh, getting struck by lightning while on stage in front of x thousand people? Talk about the dramatic-est death to ever dramatic death! Makes the fact that nobody recognised Junko (who was apparently a big name idol of their current era) yet all the more surprising.

Excellent episode, nice call moving forward Abbacchio's backstory to Moody Blues Strikes Back rather than saving it for later, it's much better to be acclimated to Abbacchio now rather than later. I liked the use of a post-credits scene so that the pre-OP beat and the pre-ED beat were flawless. Loved those specific frames and I'm glad we got them without cutting down his story. I know people in general hate post-credit scenes, but I think its use here was very much warranted. I'm really glad that the episodes have taken their time and let the fights ebb and flow, I'm a little concerned for everything fitting in 39 episodes, but I'm not really worried yet. Looking forward to rewatching with better subs, this episode's TL was full of Crunchyrollisms.
