Thunderbolt's off to a good start and if you're not watching it then I have free reign to declare you dumb.

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.

Normally, Break suggests stuff to me, but I'd like to thank IRUN for suggesting to me Zombie Land Saga.
Late a day but the first 2 minutes of Zombieland Saga
Okay, I'm onboard
I definitely feel like Irozuku Sekai will be my AOTS.
Of all of the innocent nooby mistakes to make, willfully going on a quest that involves combat with no potions among your party to fall back on is the one truly worth pointing out as dumb.

Oh yeah, goblin slayer and sao III look totally high production too, i guess.
That being said, I'm really unused to fantasy worlds where spell limit is based on daily usage rather than MP cost. Then again, the MP might not naturally recover, and she was doing math to calculate how many shots she had. Also, Goblin Slayer is a heavy armor character. Why did he bother to cover his scent? The clinking of his armor would give him away, anyway. Priests/priestesses are mage-type characters. Wouldn't wearing armor give them penalties to their magic (most mages use magic to harden their cloth clothes). Good (or at the very least, negotiable) goblins. Yeah, unfortunately, quests, like this: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:...of_Thirsk_Hall are far and few in between. That being said, like humans, goblins are also slave to politics: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Goblin_Trouble (also, due to weird level scaling, all the goblins might end up high-ranking, resulting in some kind of goblin democracy, which would be ironic in a fantasy world with human and elven kings and emperors).

I just realized that none of the characters actually have personal names, only class names.
The new Doom adaptation is looking pretty good.

Goblin Slayer was both better than I feared and worse than I hoped. The animation was... not the worst, the music was uninspired, and the pacing was awkward (all... those... pauses...). On the other hand:
I was pretty surprised that they actually made the rape obvious. I was expecting an off camera suggestion - you know, a "found her without clothes" comment later with nothing more. Add in the blood and pain, and it looks like the studio is taking Goblin Slayer more seriously that I expected.
They did, at least, bring along a cleric. It's not like they went off without any source of healing. They were just pretty dumb, not 100% morons.
The Goblin Slayer universe seems to be more D&D based - and D&D has done slot-based (Vancian) magic systems since the beginning. In fact, for gaming, MP based systems are the newer introduction.
As for the armor, it should be explained shortly... but Goblin Slayer's armor isn't that heavy - it's light on metal, heavy on padding - and is custom made to be mostly silent. And again, D&D: Clerics are armor wearers and can wield non-trivial weapons. So Priestess wearing chainmail is completely in tune. Also - magic doesn't seem to have any somatic components, so as long as she can speak, I don't think any armor would interfere.
These Goblins may not be Tucker's Kobolds, but it's wonderful to see them treated as something more than brainless vermin.
