I certainly don't think the quick flashback last episode was enough, because I had no certain idea about Sakura's past until she explained it this episode. The details and explanation were needed

On another note, Girls in Twilight finished up and is on track to be my favourite show of this season, depending on if Gridman and Bunny-Sempai stick their landings or not.

So, Zombieland is over. Fun show. There's stuff that went nowhere, but what we got was very entertaining and well made. I like all the characters, and don't regret watching the show. It sold a lot and the final scene was obvious S2 set up. So, now it's time to wait because I don't think they'll ignore the sales. I've also read on other sites that apparently staff is hinting (but not confirming) and/or teasing S2, so there's that. In the end, I ended up enjoying an idol show without giant robots, so it did a good job for me

Zombieland Saga ep. 12 and final: Murphy's Law in Action.

Not even the last climactic concert of the season could escape the wrath of the bad CG. Other than that, episode was pretty much predictable, with the exceptions of Tae getting somewhat of a spotlight and Yugiri finally slapping someone for a good reason. We get yet another hint to Koutarou's mysterious existence, and a thinly veiled sequel hook in the stinger.

Overall, I guess I'm mostly disappointed. ZLS wasn't a bad show, but the freshness and promise it showed at the first few eps slowly dried out until only tiny hints remained here and there, giving way to utterly cliched and predictable chracter drama. 7/10, will watch season 2 fully expecting it to bomb.
