    Lore and System Clarifications I was asked about in IRC

    -Squad Zero was initially formed in 1990. The first member, Yuzu, was also the first member of the SDCD to use a prototype COMP in any real capacity. She acted alone for a year, before others with a matching spiritual signature were found and joined the team over the next nine years.
    -As a result, the group itself has existed for around ten years at the start of the RP.
    -While COMP technology is kept relatively secret, there are other countries outside of Japan that are capable of utilizing them due to successful theft of certain technologies from Japanese and German Spiritual Agencies a few years after the close of World War II. Both countries are aware of this, and have taken care of those that ultimately leaked the information to other nations. In spite of this, Germany is the "furthest along" in terms of understanding the 'alien' magitech, as they ultimately managed to secure the ship itself for direct study through use of their own exorcist forces.
    -While they didn't manage to get the ship, the SDCD did manage to secure what seemed to be an "automaton."
    -While COMP spells are relatively fast in comparison to most other methods of magic, higher-ranked spells do have subtle charge times necessary for their use that enemies can and will exploit. B-Ranks in particular set off "alarm bells" in the mind of anyone with a functional sixth-sense long before the spell itself is actually completely formed.
    -Elemental energy is made from Spiritual Energy. Conversion is done automatically by the COMP when it follows the installed spell formulas. Elemental energy has more of a capacity to deal serious damage to targets due to having more of a "presence" in reality.
    -The SDCD is full of weirdos, being able to see spirits and other supernatural phenomena is likely the reason for this.
    -Spells with a lingering duration (transformations, bounded fields, field effects) have much higher cool-down costs than those that are one and done.
    -Same goes for multi-element spells.

    Amusing Sheet Notes

    -The flash-step war continues.
    -I'm amazed people are actually going for S ranks.
    -NPC that's gotten the most backstory attention is Yuzuriha, Captain seems to be popular.
    -Somehow there have been no katanas, yamato spirit is weak in you people.
