So, apparently, Lancer in Brand New Day is blond, while in the anime he's red-haired.
Clearly there is no established canon and you can still imagine him with the blue hair he should have started with.

Definitely should have had green hair.
And wow, they're already dubbing this thing?!
Hmm. GS's voice isn't quite what I was expecting, but it's also a bit sexier, so It's more than forgivable.

Sounds younger than the JP.
I watched the first episode, I don't think I liked how they made Goblin Slayer be CGI.

The second episode was nice. It was funny hearing Goblin Slayer's short replies instead of just reading them.

Finished Goblin Slayer SS Year One LN a few days ago, fun read. Interesting to see all those side Adventurers on their early days & seeing GS actually in his learning phase & end up accidentally doing a lot of those newbie mistakes we've seen.
Episode 6 was an entertaining watch as well. Goblin eating giant sewer gator's quite welcome.
I'm becoming a really big fan of the breathy mage and her I-just-suffered-a-heart-attack-and-talking-takes-a-lot-out-of-me manner of speaking.
Yeah, that was one of the few things that didn't translate well in text.

I get that one of the main themes of this series is theoretical danger vs. actual danger. For example, theoretically, goblins are low level monsters (though, in some games, such as Oblivion, goblins are level-scaled, so at higher levels, you'll find so many goblin lords that you'll wonder if the goblins have converted to a democracy), but in actuality, they strike fear into the Sword Maiden who can even stare down (no pun intended) the Demon Lord. That being said, for more religious characters, such as Sword Maiden and Priestess, wouldn't the Demon Lord who technically does employ goblins still be scarier? For example, if the Demon Lord said "convert to worshiping me, or I throw you to the goblins", how would Sword Maiden and Priestess react? Would they so quickly cast their faith aside just because of goblin fear? In other words, in theory, to priestesses, saints, etc. loss of faith is worse than death, torture, rape, etc. but in actuality, does fear of goblins overwrite all of that?
In that same vein, given that goblins are sadistic but weak, I'm surprised that no kingdoms have used them as an instrument of "enhanced interrogation". Talk, or 5 minutes in the goblin pit.

But then you have to expend resources to keep the Goblins alive between intimidation sessions. And risk them escaping as well, because while weak they're not stupid.

I'm pretty sure that they can subsist on normal food. As for escaping... Yes, I can see a Jurassic Park situation, just with generally smaller creatures.

Well, more likely the men than the women. But depending on the lore, you'd be surprised how many female soldiers and bandits there are.
but the goal of the interrogation is to make subject talk, not mindbreak them

No, just hang them over the pit (by their torso, obviously).
