Right now Dororo is male. All the "actually a girl" thing comes from what I hear from the manga and older adaptations. But, right now in the 2019 show, that could change and they could just make Dororo male for all I know.

But the first episode of Dororo was pretty great, probably one of the best first episodes of the new shows so far, with Mob psycho just a BIT ahead of it for making me cry.

Though the promised Neverland, Kaguya and (I guess it will still technically a winter show) star twinkle precure will come out soon so I'm looking forward to them.


Boogiepop was in this weird middle ground where I liked it cause it reminded me of Kara no kyoukai, but there were a lot of janky bits to the overall direction that brought it down (op especially was a let down since it's my favorite of the season so far from a pure music stand point)
