Shame about needing to go to /a/ or Reddit if you don't want to wait for fansubs for Kaguya because of the subs. Changing how the characters call each other in a show obviously focused on their relationship, where what they call each other is one of the many tools to show exactly how their relationship is and it will change as their relationship progresses seems like a huge mistake.Originally Posted by Akyuu

GJM is doing Kaguya and Neverland (and two others, I think Boogiepop is one of them) but they've had a history of stalling and dropping so don't get too attached (though as of recent seasons their staff have been more committed to finishing projects in a timely manner, so I have hope).

Well, ep 1 done. Not much to say about the plot (or lack thereof) but any anime that devotes half its first episode to a WW2-era dogfight (albeit a rather uneventful one) is well worth the watch, in my book.

So finally got the time to watch the kaguya anime and it was great. The OP was also especially glorious.
Seeing it be this good once again makes me sad it won’t reach the later feels train. Well for now i’ll just wait for the first shirogane and fujiwara segment.

They're not drawn though. It much more impressive to keep a vehicle on model traditionally, than is to cut and paste a CG model into a rig and move it back and forth.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Someone had to do the research and spend many, MANY hours to create the CG model, including ensuring all the moving bits are behaving like they're supposed to. Sure, it would be a lot harder to maintain that level if you drew every frame of it manually, but that's an issue of consistency, not accuracy.

It's meh. The story was a neat idea, fairy tale time cops, but the characters all felt really flat. Also there's this weird thing they do to make the main protagonist unique where everyone literally has book with their entire fate written down and his is blank for mysterious reasons.

TPN is great. (everyone is hung up on Killua/Ray, while I'm hooked on the idea of Sumire voicing Emma. Perfect fit)
QuinQuin is...whatever, manga is alright, but anime is still on stale part.
Bandori is cool. Don't watch it right after finishing S1, tho, hahahaha. Not for anime-only audience.
Mob S2 Episode 2: Ah, the urban legends episode. This always bemused me as I was so fascinated by those sorts of things growing up and I was always saddened when the truth turned out to be a mundane explanation.
