Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai episode 2: Worldbuilding
Well, there wasn't really much of it-we got another "food scene" with the entire crew to get to know them a bit better (though they mostly repeated their respective episode 1 shticks), plus the newly introduced sixth member, fresh from medical leave. We didn't get to see the town or what each of the girls do for leisure at all outside of ep.1's ending crawl, straight back into the action with another mission. A few tidbits of info did slip through, confirming most of the original suspicions (world almost destroyed, resource scarcity-though apparently not so much that even pirates can't afford to maintain entire flight wings), some kind of political upheaval or other. Either way, like I said at the season's start, I can forgive a lot for the sake of a good dogfight, and the impeccable attention to detail in the dogfights (both in animation, down to tiny details like spent casings or heat shimmer, and in actual tactics used) continues here. A well-deserved nod to the sound direction here as well- there are a LOT of little 'plane noises' like the sound of a dead trigger or the groaning of the plane flaps that really color the soundscape of the fight scene beyond the refreshingly "Spaghetti Western" song chosen as the backdrop. Might not be for everyone, but definitely a must watch for planefans.

That preview though...next week we start the Mogami arc and I'm hyped. Easily one of the most intense arcs in the comic. ^_^

Do you think that this season will feature the series' conclusion? I'm not a manga reader so I have no idea how long it is, I just know that it's over.
It's definitely not going to reach chapter 100 with only 9 episodes left in this season, especially with the OP climaxing with the confrontation of Claw's leader who we saw in thd cliffhanger of Season 1. That would still leave enough for a third and final season.

Well, in a sense as "chapters" are split across "parts" and Chapter 99 ended up being something ridiculous like 50 Parts long iirc.
But yes, I too hope we get to see the end of Mob Psycho animated as it's definitely worth the payoff. <3

While that's true, the fact the ending credits actually hints at the final chapters had me curious.
Also I'm unsure whether having another season with just the Cult, Telepath Club and final arcs would make sense as a package but maybe that's just me

I was really impressed again with this third episode and not much on my end to say but how good this is.
I'm tempted to just binge the manga already.
Sister Krone is one scary motherfucker, also kinda funny with how intense she is. Neverland does certainly seem like its gonna continue being interesting. It's so fun seeing the mind games that the kids and adults are playing off each other.

Watching Magical Spec Ops, and out of nowhere the soundtrack bursts into this crazy jazz piano. Not a light floaty one like you get from a Cute Girls Doing Cute Things lunchtime scene, this guy was going ham. It was a good one too, just really didn't fit the scene. Which I think is going to be this anime in a nutshell.
