Wow, this one's looking sparse.
A bunch of sequels, Kakeguri, Mob, Date a Live and Bahamut. Kaguya Want to be Confessed to, which I just started reading and wondering why there wasn't an anime of it already. Boggiepop, which I've heard nothing but good things about.
Shield Hero feels like it'll be Goblin Slayer all over again.
Dimension High School could either be a great spoof comedy, or a boring as hell drama.
Revisions (It's mecha, why not try it), Dororo (roaring rampage of revenge), and Domestic Kanjo (depressing romance) all look intriguing too.

Watching Boogiepop if I have time to catch up. Mob Psycho 2 and Kakegurui 2 for sure. Pingu 2 probably. PrinPrin and HF2 won't be out on the net by the time the season wraps up, but I'll watch those whenver they pop up.
Second season was announced after the show had long since wrapped up production, it was probably only commissioned as a single cour initially but did well enough early on to warrant another cour.

Shield Hero gets a bit edgy at times, but Goblin Slayer... I guess you could call it that sometimes, but it's still a different flavor of edgy.

All I know about Shield Hero is that there's a scene where one of the female villains gets brutally raped to death while the male lead Naofumi watches. That alone makes me not want to touch the series with a 10-foot pole.
That was a pretty low moment to be sure but its not quite as edgy as you make it sound.
Bitch basically almost fucks over the world after being spared the death penalty the first time she almost fucked the world and is sentenced as described and the MC goes "yeah sure that's fine but record it please because I want proof she's dead".
It's never actually shown other than the MC being disgusted by it.
Then it turns out he was right to ask for confirmation since Bitch winds up surviving anyway.
Pretty sure that only happens in the original web novel? I dunno, a LOT of things changed when the LN came out and I stopped following it a while ago.

Other than that, not sure what to watch. Definitely not Tate no Yuusha, though.
In a way. They are differing flavours of edge, though I wouldn't say GS is a misanthrope. It's more the ridiculed outcast in a high fantasy setting who is always right, while being considered underpowered/needlessly overspecialized.
It's not a one to one comparison, but more a feeling I get. Maybe if Shield Hero came out years ago when it was still new and fresh, not after all this Isekai fatigue has set in.
