It doesn't seem that has all leylines anyway, just the relevant ones connecting the train to Japan.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEE CLIFFHANGERS
Nice to see Melvin become a character. Also the idea of reflecting Mystic Eyes with porn amuses me. And if cars drive on the border of life, does that mean that there's a literal Highway to Hell?
This Caules a fake after all?

in the LN she had one of these instead

I guess they wanted Gray blushing expressions to animate.

Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
See, that makes more sense. I was confused as to how you could reflect Mystic Eyes with an image of people doing it. The impression I got was that it was meant to embarrass people into averting their gaze, which was like 'OK, but that seems like kind of a gamble'.
Yes, there are people who don't care about such things. why the change.... beside to animate "uuu Gray is so kyuutt"

Gotta say, I really appreciate all this behind the scenes info we're getting.
They do this every week. There's usually not much to write home about.

Kinoko should've done the same thing for last encore but well.
We had that website right

Yeah the website was where they posted stuff like how far in the future the story took place. Though its less convoluted than needing the drama CD, blog and the the original script as well to properly understand what was going on
Am I dumb or is this anime really hard to follow?
Given it's a mistery, maybe a rewatch where you can binge and better keep stuff fresh in your head (over weekly episodes, which worked when the longer arc only took 2 episodes. But can stop working for a 6 episode mistery like Rail Zeppelin) could make it easier for you. Don't think you're dumb or anything, though.

Aniplex translation of the script also makes it a bit harder than it should.
But yeah, rewatching all Rail Zeppelin episodes in a row will probably clear most questions. Now it would be the perfect moment to do it actually, before the reveal.
Well, I don't know how versed are you in TM, but if you not have seen/read Fate Zero and maybe a biiiiiiiit of Apocrypha it would make it hard. With respect to the quality of mysteries, well, I really don't understanding so much of the more intrinsical mechanics, only enjoy the story, and is not only because this is a story about magic mysteries, but I'm not very good in logic department, but I enjoy overall mystery stories. Aside of CF, this happens to me in the Sherlock Holmes of Cumberbatch series and manga that I just currently watching/reading.
