One of my coworkers wears shorts year round. In winter he wears full gear, huge coat, scarf, touque, but still thin nylon shorts. He looks like what happens when you mix and match armour sets in an RPG but have a carry limit so you have fullplate on the top and nothing on the bottom.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
I'm personally the opposite. Even in the scorching heat of summer, I will always wear jeans. No exceptions.
I once hiked about in the mountains, during winter with snow falling while in a rain poncho, just wearing shorts for my bottom half. My legs didn't feel cold or anything.
