You would think that the fights would be at a bigger scale too, but no. There are cool moments though. I also like the reading the Servant profiles, (that goes along with fighting I guess, knowing they're capable of is fun), .
Other than the Musashi vs Kojiro arguably the Ivan Mammoth one they kind of suck.
Because you're one who is supposed to be fighting. It's kind of like Extra in that way.
Like Anatasia vs Ivan could have been such a great Nasu fight scene where three seconds of action is like 5 pages of in depth text (Nine bullet revolver).
But blue and red streaks ppl. Blue and red streaks.

Kinda like the feeling of the desperate struggles where basically the only reason you pulled through after throwing everything you had at the problem was basically chance like the end of babylon.

Don't really like that everything feels like it's going progressively more DBZ.

I'm half expecting actual fucking freeza to be the lostbelt mastermind at this point.

I also like the gag events in general.

Honestly though, the Magnificent Seven Billy Interlude is probably one of the greatest things to come out of GO.

90% of the fights are played so there is no time for describing the fights.

Like: the comedy skits and occasional interesting interactions between Servants. The main story does hold some interest despite being crushed under the weight of Singularity/Lostbelt of the week.

Dislike: The atrocious gacha format and all it entails, including "premium" Servants being endlessly copied in forms of increasingly degraded originality and creativity (hello, Artoria army). The lazy distribution of how important a Servant is at any given point they're used based solely on how many stars they're worth. (see: Blackbeard being a constant joke, literally whos Eric, Phantom and Leonidas, and support room only Asterios and George. Arash was the exception, and don't get me started on the 3*). The lack of any sense of stakes or risk in the story simply because everyone knows the main cast is never getting killed off or otherwise permanently removed. Also, while this is hardly unique to FGO, might as well throw in the unabashed time-wasting involved in having an "AP" system that exists simply to either gate how much you can get done in any single session or entice you to pay for action refills (yes, FGO gives out apples like candy, but the system is still geared towards wasting your time with meaningless battles just to burn your points for the day).

Blackbeard's comedic but he was still a main antagonist in Okeanos, Asterios had good screentime there, Sanson had the spotlight in Okeanos... Meanwhile Tesla did jack shit in the main story so far, relatively speaking

There are still many low-rarities with poor roles but it's not an absolute thing

Sanson has a spotlight in Salem.

As for Tesla, honestly I don't think his role in the story was that bad but maybe that's just me.

Well if anything theres a chance he shows up when Zeus makes an appearance.

As for the low stars, the ones that really need more exposure is George and Eric of the ones Death mentioned. Phantom got a pretty okay role in Shinjuku tho minor, they will have to continue expand from there, Leonidas had a very good showing in Babylon. And whenever Arash has screentime he's the boss. Oh and Caligula also needs some more love, his exposition in Prison tower was good but he hasn't gotten a decent role yet.

Tesla shows up as mind-controlled second-to-last boss in the last two chapters of London
And then shows up out of nowhere in America to argue with Edison and fail to hold back the Demon God Pillars

    Not exactly a lot there

He shows up as a hyped up bad guy in London and he does that role fairly well. If wanting more characterization as an ally that's a completely different thing that they should do, but as of his role in London I'm satisfied with it, even when its constrained by Story layout. If I have any complaint it be is wish he would have stopped emphasizing on the Attribute Servant divide though I guess I put that under his Madness Enhancement

Hyped up bad guy, he just walks away and barely talks. He's one of the most shafted characters.
