Woah, the Shimosa translator is taking up Salem Manga. Finally, the wait is over but the curious question I do have is how is the translator getting the raws. Can the translator read Vietnamese or Chinese perhaps?
He's Vietnamese, but he has some trouble reading the Vietnamese raws. We'll see how it goes.

Chapter one of the Salem manga English translation is out! Its really obvious that the author has drawn Yuri before from Gudako's interactions with Mash. I'm not as endeared to this Gudako yet as the one from Shimousa for a reason I can't quite place but I'll wait a few more chapters and it's not like I dislike her either.
Also the translation is good. Like, really good, I thought I'd offer assistance like with shimousa but there isn't so much as type or awkward sentence despite there being more words

I looked over on reddit and it seemed that people had an issue with honorifics since the chapter didn't include them in there. But, in my opinion it'd be nice if there was honorifics. Though i'm just used to it.

Always gives me a lighty disconfort to seeing Servants hanging out in Chaldea, making breakfast and whatnot in manga. Surprised that Sansom can cook and with enough skill to make those crepe things.
Seeing Geronimo talking in this makes me laugh. I haven't seen his My Room Lines but when I read this and him talking about the the white man I imagine him using a navite american stereotypical accent.
Yeah, Salem is probably not the best place to normal girls like Fujimaru and Mash.
Now I can read that they select the best team for this mission. Before I was thinking "why not Karna? what if I need to nuke'd something?" but then I understand that a flashy white indian boy stand out like a sore thump.
