The file wasnt there, I reinstalled the patch and it still didnt do anything. Same with the save data thing.
config.ksc will be created only after you use the save directory selection dialog box.
Is the directory read/write or read only? If the directory is read only, it may be the reason why data is not being correctly created.
Also, check that the destination directory has enough storage space (I would recommend 8GiB free)
Actually, yes it is read only. I have plenty of space.
I highly recommend that you clear your wineprefix

You said earlier to "check that the destination directory has enough storage space", and I think that might have been it. I was messing around with the files that were downloaded and got the message
"Error while copying to "Fate／stay night[Realta Nua] Ultimate Edition". 257.7 MB more space is required to copy to the destination. There is not enough space on the destination. Try to remove files to make space."
How would I adjust the destination directory storage space?
Delete files located on the same storage as the destination directory to create space. You can see free space with "df -h"

Thanks to you guys for doing this and for the tech support. My install went decently but I appreciate that you're helping individual trouble shooting too.
aSo in the reddit post it says to "make sure Media Foundation MP4 and Microsoft DTV-DVD audio and video decoders are not disabled via Codec Tweak Tool" I used the tweak tool, but the media foundation button is grayed out and MS Codec Tweaks says "warning: msmpeg2adec.dll is missing" and "warning: mp4sdecd.dll is missing" how would I fix this?
Movies will not work correctly in Wine right now. To disable movie functionality, in the menus at the top of the screen, select &Patch -> &Options -> S&kip movies in-game.
