I mean, I have the VN downloaded and even checked it a bit to see if I didn't mess up and everything worked. I do plan to read it anyways, and the anime wouldn't ruin things too much. I watched Chaos;Child (the anime) and still enjoyed and love the C;C VN. So, Yu-No is on my plan to read list no matter how the anime turns out.

Fruits Basket is a lot like Cardcaptor Sakura. If you watched the original, you'd jump on the new one. Unfortunately, unlike CCS, I never watched the original FruBa.

Watched the first episode of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba".

Solid start, let's see where this one is going...

I didn't expect them to animate the sword styles like that. Looked amazing in the ending.

Fruits Basket had a great first episode. Some of those side characters are better than main characters from other shows I've seen recently.

Ao-chan Can't Study started off pretty good, but wow did it go downhill the minute the little gremlin showed up. I would have down for her accidentally getting closer to the guy when trying to distance herself, but with someone external causing the misunderstandings feels lazy.

I just watched the first episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba. 2 points. First of all, when does this take place? Apparently, modern enough for what appears to be power lines. Secondly, the author doesn't seem to know whether he wants to write Japanese oni or western vampires.

That's something I noticed about Kimetsu as well:
The characters clearly say "oni", no "kyuuketsuki" or "vampire". Yet, the way Nezuko was infected and what we're told about these "oni" makes them vampiric in nature.
The only other show I remember where oni can turn humans into oni in such ways is New Getter Robo. I still loved the premiere, but it's simply a curiosity I noticed

The Silent Girls anime was fun and short, nothing to complain about, and got a few chuckles from me.

We Can't Learn would have probably been alright any other time, but after watching the exact same show only way better last season with Quintuplets makes this seem really bland.

Wow, Kimetsu really going all in on that Yuki Kajura OST. I half expected Ryougi to come out of nowhere in that fight.

Also, apparently oni in the series are weak to sunlight.

They're vampires even though they call them onis lolz.
I read the manga but still curious about how they handle it. In the manga you can feel the desperation from the characters when they're fighting strong demons later on, it really feels like their enemy is invincible
The opening at the end just wwoooowww I'm very happy at how cool it is

Music wise, no need to worry I guess

But I'm annoyed with how incompetent the other demon slayers though

Waiting for Bungou Stray Dogs too

If you use your imagination and squint, you can pretend that Kimetsu no Yaiba is ufotable doing a Demon Hunter Organization anime.
McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.

I dunno, I think I'll like BokuBen more
The Nakanos are just way too antagonistic. Here, the girls are open to studying, but just seem to think of their goals as a lost cause (which makes sense with previous tutors and even their parents telling them to give up).
I dunno, maybe Nino soured me on Quints too much, and I prefer the more vanilla flavor BokuBen offers

Yes, there is a certain irony that even actual vampire stories are moving away from lethal sun damage (they're just nocturnal) and mandatory fatal bites, but oni stories are jumping into that void.
