    It's just the Authors odd style of writing. Lots of monologuing, lots of narration. Half the time it's not even inner thoughts. You get used to it after a while.

    Wow that was a lackluster episode of Shield Hero this week. If you need to do a clip show, just do a clip show. Don't have important things happen in the first and last five minutes and the rest be characters re-hashing their shared histories while the megalomaniacal villain just sits there watching.

    Muzan is the first villain that give me chill for a while in shonen series when I read this and later chapters. The things that he can do to his underlings can make you a bit sorry for the demons.

    I always see clip shows that are single character narrating the important events up until the studio ran out of money/time a completely logical stopping point in the middle of a fight.
