This week's Kitarou explores why Kitarou remains somewhat friends with Nezumi-Otoko. He brings up a good point that, during the Nanashi incident, when Kitarou was all depressed about Nekomusume's death, that it was Nezumi-Otoko was the one who snapped him out of him... You know, by reminding him that one's own life is more important than anything else, by strangling him. Point is, it's like Jack Sparrow's philosophy that one can count on dishonest men more than honest ones because the dishonest ones won't do stupid things at the drop of a hat. You know, like jumping into a fire or on a cross.
Miru Tights ep8 was good. Great. Amazing, even.
Last few eps before it were pretty annoyng with the forced dumb drama but Carole & Tuesday 12 was lit af.
Angelas song sounds like it could legit be an international radio hit irl.
Yeah the Stalker bit was weak, but the rest of the show has been A+, so when a less than amazing bit shows up it really stands out. Stalker should have had more of an arc, less of a switch from adoring to psychopath.

Garo says that there is never a scenario where the villain wins. I disagree. Look at any point in Chinese history, especially 3 Kingdoms. The side that Romance tries very hard to convince you are the bad guys are basically the winners. Sima Yi started off in Wei, after all. Meanwhile, all the "Justice and Benevolence" superheroes get their asses handed to them. Of course, every Dark Brotherhood player in the Elder Scrolls series has gutted several self-righteous pigs, like: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Adamus_Phillida in the name of Sithis.
Well he only watch kiddies movies so...

Yeah I defy you to find me even a single episode of the Justice Man TV show where the villain wins, clock’s ticking lvl
Still miss the old anime! The old anime Ayame introduction chapter was a barrel of laughs, I remember very fondly its recounting of the school anecdotes, with epic electro-bagpipe music and everything
The new anime is good, but is much more focused on the melodrama, and the soundtrack is so subdued, it might as well not exist. A far cry for the old anime's LOUD! acting over LOUD! music (also some of the old seiyuu were just great, like Tohru, Kyo or Hana-chan)

It's hard to be objective because the old anime was really dear to me.
But I do think the comedy parts were undeniably funnier in the old one.
(However, the old anime is only like one third of the manga, changes things up near the end, and the production is obviously dated.)
You can watch ep 14 of the old anime which is the equivalent of last week's ep of the new anime and compare

It's YMMV. The music is nice and it's rather funny but you're basically signing up for an incomplete story where a few important Character building moments was removed. New anime's visuals are more impressive, has less focus on the comedy (it's still there but not as much as the old one) and is actually going to be finished.
Ultimately I'd say you lose/gain nothing from not just watching both.
