I would like discard everything and return the graphics to Gen 5 ones, that I think of they has the peak of Pokemon, a 2D disguised as a 3D + Megas could be included. You don't need super advanced graphics to make good cutscenes as this franchise as demostrated before. The lost of moves + Pokemon + quirks aren't worth it. Dinamax and Gigantomax are sooooooooooooooooo unnecesary that I don't know where to start.
Exists a case of a videogame franchise that has made something like that?
Dynamax is alright. Gigantamax is hella dumb tho. Literally Mega Evolution in a slightly crappier hat.

Started playing sword a lil bit, probably will only really get into playing it this weekend. Im glad i took the femc pill for this game, 8 boy hairstyles vs around 40 girl hairstyles is quite something.
I did too. I really should've done it since gen 6, but better late than never.

Oh man swsh is balanced like shit. The wild pokemon are way too high leveled compared to what clowns the trainers and gym leaders are. I’ve been putting in some work to remain not too overleveled for the difficulty of this game, but that just means Im unable to catch anything I find because the wild pokemon are often higher level than mine, and im not talking about wild area. Considering how ridiculously easy it is to level up pokemon by doing a few dynamax battles, i feel like the wild mons should be a good handful of levels lower, or of course pereferably the trainers much stronger.
Marnie is this game's salvation. Literally.
Main game is easy, postgame is too short, Wild Area is a great concept but barren, story is backloaded into the endgame, Dynamax is basically inconsequential, the Dex is incomplete, but Marnie makes it all worth it.
On a more serious note, I did have fun with the game because of much of a fan I am. I liked the story even if it was all crammed into the end and I really liked the presentation of the Gym Challenge as an actual big-deal event that people watch all around the world. The characters are pretty cool too, with Sonia, Bede, Hop, and of course Marnie being my highlights.
That Rare League Card makes the entire game worth it.

I gotta say... the people complaining were right about almost everything. I mean, the game is still clearly Pokemon, it has its own flair, and of course there's fun stuff to do, but... it's really not a console game. Seeing characters slowly rotate on their Y axis to face each other is inexcusable in the current year.

So far I'm enjoying the game, though no Blaziken and Mega Mawile sucks tbh. No voiced characters is dumb too, it's about time they voice them.
Also I don't mind the Wild Area (they should have added the bike earlier though), but it sucks that some Pokemon only appear on raids or weather conditions. And I don't like the level restriction at all, specially since it's really easy to overlevel by accident so it's useless for balancing (I was 10 levels above the supposed level LOL).
Also easy access to TRs like Earthquake before Gym 1 wtf, again how is that balanced?

FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
TRs are randomized and one-use. Sure, an Earthquake early in the game can make things too easy, but you have to go out of your way to either do raids or get enough watts to buy that over bike upgrades. I would rather important moves like it were the reusable TMs, though. It's annoying to have shit like Charm as a TM, but Earthquake and Liquidation/Waterfall as TRs (though it's pretty easy to get more).
When I get around to playing them (if I ever finish Trails in the Sky SC), it'll be on the Vita, so it probably won't feel that bad.
