Gen 4 Diamond has like 4 roaming legendary. Because of some luck I caught all of them in 1 day after restlessly throwing poke balls.

I don't. A lot of the time. Frankly, filling the Pokedex is a chore for me, and I just ignore that part, even if I want the National Dex to be present so I can select all my faves.

It'd be one thing if trimming the number of dishes actually was necessary to improve the quality of what remained, but in this case, I'm skeptical. Lots of reused Gen 7 animations, and Game Freak does not need to release this game in 2019. I'd gladly wait another year.

Well catching the same pokemon can benefit you as they sometimes have different natures and abilities like spore upon contact or paralyze, also different stats growth rate

ORAS is kinda strange, if there's pokemon with unique moves and abilities they just pop up from nowhere and has better moveset than you can find in random encounter. I found Elecktrike with Crunc move and static ability, also they sometime have much higher level than most pokemon in the area.

The meta's gonna be a complete clusterfuck if they omit some powerful pokes that check other powerful pokes that are left in. I can't really predict what'll come, but it could be more drastic than the change from gen 5 to gen 6 competitive.
