They're not fun to use, not even hard to get cuz they're just given to you, no backstory is given it's all relegated to the movie, they just suck.

I always always hated the event mythicals and legends as in old games they were in the actual game but you fucking could make it to the event and you needed to go to another place or shit like that to make it available in the game. Fuck that shit, I never did it, I only regret having lost something of the adventure.
i can count the mythicals i like with one hand. Mew, celebi, deoxys.... uuuuh, i guess i like shaymin but i hate that its a mythical, shoulda been just a normal grass pokemon or even starter. Qt design but basic af

Gone are the mchanic changes that stuck because they genuinely halped balance the game.
Now it's just gimmick after gimmick. First it was Megas, which was fine until they killed the meta with Mega-Rayquaza, then it was Z-moves, and now it's Gigantamax.
The raid battles are neat but just making Pokémon bigger is lame.

I always confuse mythicals with legendaries. Mythicals are the ones you only meet via events, right? Like Celebi, Deoxys, Shaymin, Hoopa, etc?
(Though Deoxys was added normally in the remake).

Yeah, and the GTS IS. THE. EXACT. SAME. THING. AS. THE. 3DS.
Which means, you can't select any specific ability, nor specific IVs, nor specific personalities, nor specific items that you want them equipped with for Pokemons that evolve with items like Rypherion. Oh, and you can't remove from the list people that want to trade any Pokemon with Type: Null for example, which there are a fuckton of them which already happened before in Pokemon Sun/Moon, since the stupid mythical filter doesn't work for pseudo legendaries.
And the process you need to follow if you want to trade a Pokemon in the GTS is:
1. Search the Pokemon you want in the Mobile version, and see who has a reasonable trade (usually 4 or 50 out of the 50 you'll see).
2. Close the Mobile version and open the Switch version, then drag the Pokemon to trade to the Pokemon Home boxes.
3. Close the application and open the Mobile version and hope to god you can find that trade since there's no way to lock that request in place so you can find it again.
Of course if you're crazy enough to buy the premium version then you can just put all your Pokemon in there so you always have everything available, though I wouldn't recommend it as I have zero trust in that application right now.
Oh, and if you're wondering why I'm making you close the application in my steps, it's because the Mobile and the Switch version seem unable to run at the same time. Either you have the Switch version or the Mobile version open, not the two.
And why can't you trade from the Switch version? Because Gamefreak sucks.

And the Wild Area event changed along with the previous one, Mewtwo and the Kanto Starters will be appearing in Max Raid Battles. Mewtwo can't be caught though, but it drops PP MaX and Ability Capsules if you beat it. And the Kanto starters give you berries along with the Toxic, Life, and Flame Orbs. Happy Pokemon Day!
