Looks like we're going to the Pokemon worlds equivalent of the UK this time.

Scorbunny looks like he's gonna be football themed pokemon, wonder if we'll end up with another fire/fighting starter.

I'm not too sure on the other two, but I'm not disliking any of their looks. Sobble has an invisibility ability it looks like, and Grookey is too much of a generic monkey for me to figure out what his mixed in theme is gonna be.

I'm only basing it on the things I see on the trailer, but from the way it has a building that looks like the Big Ben clock tower and the way it has a Football emphasized, looks like its the UK to me.

....kinda was hoping for overworld encounters to stay, but I guess people really wanted their nuzlockes so whatever.

I'm withholding judgement until more information comes out, but what I saw doesn't really scream hype to me yet.

Seems to be.

The games take place in a brand new region known as Galar, but will feature a mixture of old and new creatures. The new Galar region features a mix of industrial cities, wide open fields, and snowy mountains, and looks in areas like it might be based around UK architecture.

I'm probably going with Scorchbunny. Fast and Fire-type? Sign me up. Also, I was hoping we might get the region seemingly connected to Kalos, but well, no dice. Finally, maybe there's a Sinnoh remake on the horizon?

Hopefully their evolutions are better looking. Right now, I'm more likely to get the game for the region than the roster.

I really really like Sobble but yeah the other two designs don't grab me. I honestly felt the same about Kalos and Alola's starters too though.

Sobble is the one I think looks best but I’m a grass loyalist and I do think the dumbass monkey was pretty qt in the animation where he was hitting a rock with that lil stick so I guess I’ll still go monkey.

Only grass starters I’ve skipped so far are Chespin and Chicorita.

I'm a fire loyalist, and the only ones I've skipped is Litten -> Incineroar because the latter absolutely sucks, and Delphox because Greninja was just that much better and Delphox has a frustratingly shallow movepool.
