Thank you! Tested it out and it worked. In any case, I have experience GMing on other forums. However, I have never been much of a player. I have been lurking for some months. You think, making a character sheet would be appropriate?

Everyone began from somewhere. As long as you posts at a reasonable pace and don't suddenly disappear you'll be fine, so you don't need to worry too much about posting history when you're new, really. What really matters is the sheet, Airen just doesn't want many of his players to suddenly just stop posting like in Ga Rei.

At least that's what I think is his stance on the matter.

It's more or less this, there was a point in Exodus where the cast more or less changed completely cuz a bunch of people bailed (for various reasons), and so the posting history is less "are you known on the site" and more "how often do I see you drop rps." Even then, it would only be one of many criteria for what I want in the end (character is still king here, but I would really rather not lose as many plot lines as I lost in the cast shift last time, serves as a blemish of sorts on the overall story)

Being new isn't a problem in my eyes, if the sheet is interesting enough to make it, I'll take it.

Understood! I like to think I am the type who posts regularly. Will send a character draft by Today or Tomorrow. From what I have seen on the RP Sheet Graveyard, I have my work cut out for me. Better to try, than to always wonder though.

Is the 24th just the deadline for submissions or also when we get to hear who all get to be in the RP?

Of course, Tamers don't usually fight each other in a truly hostile capacity; most of the time Tamer vs Tamer battles are sparring or tournament matches, so they don't normally escalate very high.

So what you're saying is there is going to be a tournament arc at some point or am I misreading this potential foreshadowing?

24th is the deadline for sending in your sheet (unless people ask for an extension), after which selection begins, which would be concluded when airen has picked the 8 or more sheets. Maybe if he's very quick you'll see it on the 24th

As for a tournament arc... It is certainly a shonen staple, but I can't say I've planned for such a thing to be a major feature in the main story. But they do happen in-universe; Tamer-run tournaments exist mostly to encourage growth in their members so everyone is ready the next time something absurd happens, while those hosted in the Demonic Server normally have some absurd prize at stake but are also more dangerous and under-the-table. (Think Yu Yu Hakusho's Dark Tournament)

...Although if I was to do a tournament arc, it would probably be as a part of a character's personal story arc rather than a main story event. Putting everyone together into a tournament is a good way to accidentally stall posting out, it'd be the BL Grail War RP effect.
