As requested on IRC yesterday, a bit about the Lagerkvist Family:

Lagerkvist

A clan of Demon Summoners that reside in Germany.

In the modern day, they are the keepers of the OOPart known as the SLEIPNIR, and have modified it's workings to the point where only members of their family can act as the 'key' that allows it to function. Due to their history as summoners, the family itself is treated akin to nobility (they have numerous servants), and while there are a number of branch families to it, what determines whether or not someone is a member of the "Main" branch is the spiritual capacity to operate the SLEIPNIR itself, as it draws on the spiritual power of the operator just like any other supernatural armament.

At the moment, only Adala Lagerkvist and her brother are capable of operating the device with their own power; as a result, they are the only members of the "Main" Branch that exist. The other branches of the family have less grandiose roles, and normally just continue on with the family occupation of Demon Summoner, using their powers to settle other supernatural matters as Spirit Tamers; due to the worldwide spread of spiritual powers however, these members of the family aren't quite as special amongst the populace as they had used to be, as most humans are capable of applying magical theory now with a little aid from other devices.

If you don't have a perk that starts you off with a summon you won't have one you can just call whenever at the start as personal contracts are rare (Demons are civilians too, and they're no more keen on being unnecessarily controlled than humans are) At times, if the situation is bad enough, you might be sent one by the operator to assist you, and they'll follow your commands when you summon them at that time; it's treated as a special action in most cases that only appears at certain times.

If you do have a perk that mentions getting a personal summon, I'll make out whatever their spells and stats are, and their use of abilities will draw somewhat on your stamina (because you're their contractor.)

If it's oath taker you can't decide their personality, but can write a blurb on them for Guardian Force and Divine Protection, and that'll influence how I construct them.

As for getting personal summons in game, better really befriend the demon in question, since taking a contract encroaches on their newfound personal freedoms quite a bit, they'll have to really like you.
