It is pretty great but on the back of my mind I can't get rid of the question of "what if this is real?" and it prevents me from having fun.

The email @8chan he used to have up is about the only thing that makes me seriously consider this being an insane person, but insane people tend to have trouble reaching even a place like that. They stick to your washington post and what have you.

See, though, that's pretty tough. You can respond to Dullahan by logically applying as much verbal obtuseness as you can think of, because Dullahan brings pretty much the opposite of this. For this, you need either a post you're copying as muster, or your own chuuniness to make a post like that, and if you have it, teardrops is going to understand even less of it than an average reader.

Because, when you think about it, autism is fundamentally social debilitation. It's one thing to make an autistic post, but it's wholly another to respond to an autistic post in an autisitic way, because true autism by its very nature distorts communication. You can't respond to them in their terms, because the world of autism is so vast you're never going to know their terms from just one post.

There's no helping purple_teardrops, and I don't say that to be mean; I say that because he's made it clear that he doesn't want help. He's a recovering(?) drug addict, at what probably isn't a particularly bad facility, considering they were giving him free internet access. Yet he calls it prison. The only thing that he's not allowed to do there, I would imagine, are leave or use his drug of choice. This is all conjecture of course. But if there's even a hint of truth to those assumptions, then he's probably not interested in getting help from anyone. And now he's alienated us, leaving us with a derogatory message and not coming back online since posting it. (Just checked: He hasn't logged on since five minutes after he made his last post in this thread.)

You can respond assuming in good faith that people are who they say they are, or you can respond assuming it's a particularly imaginative and verbose troll. Either way, you're talking to a stranger on an online forum. Whether they need saving or not, it's beyond any person here (unless by astronomical coincidence they're also connected in real life).

The BadBoi (tm) sticker never goes away in the age of records, even years later people who have never heard of you before are gonna look back at your file and go "oh he has a prior, no leniency then", take it from experience. Might as well make light of it.

I mean, I stand behind the statement that my previous ban was entirely arbitrary, so I'm not removing that part. Other than that, it began as a passive-aggressive statement slash joke, and since I got bored of it eventually I just left it there.
