I think naming translations are not so critical issue. By the way, let's search by keywords of "はがくれ 飛燕" you will find something(^^;.

Miss Jarman said viciously: 'You must reallywant your money.'
'No.' Harvey shook his head wearily. 'It's not that, honey. He wants to be Caneton. And nobody ever beat Caneton. Yet.'
I said quickly: 'Bring the car through in fifteen minutes. Unless you hear shooting. Then you can decide for yourself.'
I walked away down the bank to the right, looking for the entrance to the communication trench. I found it and turned in.

@Ossan
so how will you translate those into English? please don't ask me. >.<
@AmADo VII
I think no need to translate. These are can't translate in English with same syllable.

Don't be such a can't-doer, Ossan. You need to be more optimistic.
@Pai
I'm a pessimist (^^;.

This semester I am formally studying Japanese grammar as a native speaker would. It's fascinating to see the difference in methodologies and perspectives between native language instruction and foreign language instruction.
When you learn/use a language long enough, you begin to subconsciously generalize rules for grammar, even if those rules were never taught before (sometimes you end up being wrong). This is a universal trend in human linguistics.
What I'm saying is, I'm finally learning the actual reasons why ways of saying/writing things that were never taught to me but felt "right" or "wrong". The Nikkei students that grew up speaking Japanese are actually having a tougher time of it because their mistakes are so ingrained. Really interesting.
In some ways it definitely feels less arbitrary than English grammar. In other cases Japanese comes up with excessively complex ways of conveying information that English is more efficient at, but that's largely rooted in cultural/historical reasons.
In some cases, one fan translation got popular and it stuck, regardless of accuracy. A lot of the time it's either TakaJun or Arai's stuff.
In a surprising number of cases, though, Nasu has actually used an English term. It might be in some reference book or glossary most English fans haven't read.

Someone to translate these songs? I think it's a no, but to try...
At least the general trend? I can understand something, but...
I would have considered doing it had they been Tsukihime related.
Say, do not tumblr users tend to translate this sort of stuff?

Hi, a bit lost on this one:
「いや、えらいぞ氷室大金星だ! 特別に座布団五枚!」
The last part... I'm thinking that should mean something other than five cushions... (as a reward?)
Either way, what could this be translated as so that the point isn't lost to an English reader?
遠吠えの残響が聞こえた。
まだ間に合う、と。
その腕は俺には過剰な代物だ、と。
よく考えろ、布を緩めただけでお前はあれほどに苦しんだのだ。
だから、まだ間に合う。お前の手には刃がある。
己の一生はそれに侵され、封じることに費やされる。
いつ暴発するか判らない爆発物と共に怯えながら生きる。
だからその時限回路だけでもいいから、このカッターナイフでえぐり出せ、と。
(context: Shirou freaking out over Archer's arm)
Can't figure out that highlighted part.
time limit circuit? looks like Shirou wants to shut off that arm.
You could just treat it as a timer. Tick, tick, tick, tick, BOOM.
If he can't get rid of the explosive, he at least wants to take out the timer.

That's the issue, Kota and I have no idea what a Time Circuit is or what it should be TL'ed to. I'm hearing we should TL it as Time Bomb, is this a good TL?
