I prefer the original version. Except for Ozymandias' quote, because I can only imagine that spoken in Koyasu.

I really don't see the confusion here. It was a translation choice, there's always multiple ways to phrase things in like any language.

yeah people have pointed it out before. Just the usual issue with weird translations sticking in the English fanbase.

I have used Hero-King for Gil because sometimes that is what the context actually means, like 人類最古の英雄王
Also when Saber Lily is described as having been called 騎士姫, "Knight-Princess" makes more sense than "Princess of Knights"
But "King of Knights" sounds OK.

I prefer King of Conquest for 征服王.
