Never mind, I guess it wouldn't make much sense considering this is an english forum and translating to other languages is not necessary as long as you know english.

Ok, from now on I will. Editing is important to reduce the number of messages as you say.

I have a translation question (I did the research). This is the sentence:

    「しばらく会わないでおこうって… さくらのことで、距離を置いたから…」

My translation: I intended not to meet for a while, because we distanced ourselves over Sakura

    Is it good?
They are talking about the past or the future?

No one can give you a full answer until you give more context around the sentence.

Is there a context term for 呪力 in the Nasuverse?

That, but also Excalibur Morgan's darkened magical energy that originates from the British Isles. Are they referring to the same concept as well?

want to ask something about this:

    なお、B+はあくまで無防備に喰らった場合なので『幻想大剣(バルムンク)』で防御行動を取った場合は、更 に削減される。防戦において本気を出したジークフリートは動く要塞。

Now, from what i can infer, the interpretation goes like this: "Furthermore, since B+ (value) is (the value) for receiving (attacks) while being completely defenseless, in the case of taking defensive action with Balmung, (it) is reduced even more."

Regarding the "it" part, if taking from the context and making sense of it, i assume "it" refers to the attack damage taken right? Yet the japanese text itself says nothing about what is "it", only that something is being reduced even more. Is this a case where the subject is inferred from context and really doesnt need to have subject?

or 『幻想大剣(バルムンク)』で防御行動を取った場合は、更に削減される should be taken as "situation of taking defensive action with Balmung (itself) is reduced even more", with the situation (場合) being the subject that is being "reduced" (削減される)?

    Thanks in advance.

The context clearly means the damage taken but there's probably a sentence before this that would give you the context.

For example FGO Mat II says 「B+相当の防御数値」

    since it says this

    Aランクの通常攻撃であればAマイナスB……つまりEランク相当の打撃が与えられることになるが、宝具によ る攻撃の場合、B+分の防御力が発動する。ただし竜種特攻などの宝具、スキルがある場合はこのプラス分が計 上されない。

does that mean that these 2 sentence, on the whole, is speaking of 宝具による攻撃 as the general subject?

also it kinda threw me off because on the second sentence, before は there was a 場合, so i thought 『幻想大剣(バルムンク)』で防御行動を取った場合 is the subject being talked in the sentence. Does 『幻想大剣(バルムンク)』で防御行動を取った場合は work as "in the case of bla bla bla" then?

no that's just the second part of the first sentence and the dragon part after it.

then, for the immediately following sentence right after that "なお、B+はあくまで無防備に喰らった場合なので『幻想大剣(バルムンク)』で防御行動を取った場合は、 更 に削減される", the 更 に削減される refer to 宝具による攻撃 too, right?

Not sure if this is the right place since it's more like language technicality so I think this is the closest I can think of.
Hopefully someone that familiar enough with Japanese and had time to spare can help with a possible, non awkward/out of nowhere nick/petname that could come from this guy 有彦.

How do you read it, is it Arihiko or is it some fancy kirakira name? Assuming it's Arihiko, if he was a friend at an age where giving friends nicknames from their given names is still cool, I'd probably do something with the Hiko part. Like, ひこりん maybe?
Or we could go the way of "read it differently on purpose" and call him ゆうsomething or ありsomething.
Depending on his family name, fusing them together works too.

Come to think of it, I think I haven't named any friends based on their given name since, like, elementary school.
I hope this person is at the right age for this.

I'm not sure the asker even knows this much.

but yeah I'd work with Hiko too.

Then again I'm not the type to give people nicknames
