    probably dumb question

why is 蒼天囲みし小世界 is small world enclosed by azure sky instead of small world which encloses the azure sky

is this pure contexxtual, or is there a grammar i dont know in work?

"Didn't we go over this before?" I thought, and searched.

I searched a bit more on my IRC logs and Arai agreed

<meatfarmer> that's the natural way of interpreting it
So if you trust us it's supposed to be read this way.

Castor, does this grammar explanation help you?
I think it's a better explanation than my random "i think this is 過去の助動詞の連体形" from last time.

I need a help with some kind of line. It's from HA track girls route I'm adding. I got the whole thing translated but this one bothers me.
    The one who's talking is:
    Spoiler:

A phantom version of Yukika - she's talking about the phantom version of Makidera.
Think of these phantom versions as having opposite personalities to the real versions.

first line is context, second line is problematic:
    Spoiler:

    「まったく、本当に勘に障る子よね蒔は。昨日から口を開けば泣き言ばっかり」
    「いいこと? 次に可愛こぶったら、とりあえずにゃかうまで買い出しに行かせるわよ?」

    Current translation:
    Spoiler:

「Really, Maki is like a trouble child. Ever since she opened her mouth yesterday she’s been whining non-stop.」
「You hear? Next time you try to act like a good girl I’ll make you go shopping!」

I have no idea what's "nyakaumade kaidashi"? Sounds like some kind of "cat-talk" but I'm not sure what it means.

    Question

    己の誠を通さんと時代と戦い続けた

How is this supposed to be parsed? Like this?
    (己の誠を通さん)と(時代)と戦い続けた?

    You're welcome.

The negative is the more common modern usage, but you'll see the archaic one sometimes too.

Like 「神の加護があらんことを」 in translations of the Bible. Or 「フォースと共にあらんことを」 in Star Wars.

    - - - Updated - - -

Your parentheses are confusing me because it doesn't really read like that in my head, I guess. But I think you understand it now?

    Um

Is this more or less correct

"Persisting in his fidelity and continues to fight against the era"

    - - - Updated - - -

Also, does that mean differentiating between negative form and arxhaic form depends on the context?

No. Now you have the usage of the first と wrong.

It's analogous to 信念をやり抜こうとする, now replace those parts with the sentence about whom I'm guessing is Hijikata.
