is the 人類の"存続するべき"無意識が生み出した防衛装置のようなもの explaining 守護者 or この英霊?

for stuff like this, is it really 100% depndent on context, or is there a grammatical rule i know not ahout?

There's two separate thoughts.

この英霊は守護者と呼ばれるもの

and

人類の"存続するべき"無意識が生み出した防衛装置のようなもの

The latter sentence is clearly about 守護者 since that's what it means in TM, but in the end it's all talking about the same person. Emiya or whoever.

If you're not sure how で particle works, it's a good idea to look that up because it's an extremely basic/common particle.

The latter sentence is clearly about 守護者 since that's what it means in TM, but in the end it's all talking about the same person. Emiya or whoever.

If you're not sure how で particle works, it's a good idea to look that up because it's an extremely basic/common particle.

Its just that the existing translation seems to make it that the one created by the collective unconscious desire thing is Emiya himself, not the "守護者" itself, which left me confused.

Also about the de particle, i indeed was confused and try to look it up, because i onlt know de particle being used to indicate method, cause, or place, and im still confised because it seems like in this context it was none of this.

The romanization according to TM wiki is (yeah I know it's not a "reliable" source):
Ka no mono wa tsune ni hitori, tsurugi no oka de shouri ni you

Shouldn't it be "Kare" instead of "Ka"? Or is it some kind of reading I'm not familiar with...

Question for those who have read Garden of Avalon. In his particular segment, Sir Kay mentions that he's tired of fighting and is planning to leave with his earned wealth to wherever. However, in the Drama CD at least, it's mentioned that his efforts along with Gawain's secured Arturia's landing at Camlann. Did he end up showing up to the battle after all, or is this just an additional detail exclusive to the drama CD? Is there any detail on his fate?

there's a big disconnect from what Kay says and what Kay does.
He's a complainer with a good heart.

In the Lets go Driving post UBW Drama CD he makes a cameo maybe.
