Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
So we have our second Question. Keep them coming.
Not related by blood. Karabo is Chris's foster-father who he came back with from the hospital. Karabo is the one who "trained" him as an Executor. Karabo "shows up" in Chapter 7.Is Chris related to Karabo? I can't believe I never made the Frampton connection.
At the time of writing this I had his name romanized as Callebaut because I thought Sanda would really go there and use a chocolate brand for a character of African descent.
Then the subs for the Case Files anime came out and turns out the prejudiced one was me since Karabo is an actual Africian name.
All instances of his name have been changed.

So it lets you punch people with the Bible?

Bible gauntlets
Amazing
I have no idea who that is, though. I feel like I missed a pretty major Type-Moon release.
Spoiler:
I wonder if the Ash Lock has any connection to Ruler Martha's holy knuckle and the Jacob's Limbs fighting style.
Finally caught up on these past few chapters, and am still chomping at the proverbial bit for more updates.
Cherry was a surprise, as was the detective, though the interlude's name was a real strong hint. More evidence for Curie basically being ORT-tan is also unsurprising, but still pleasant. As for Saber's identity, I've my own personal theory about it, and I suppose I'm now just waiting for its confirmation or not.
At the risk of sounding egregiously platitudey, keep on at it.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
Draft for the first half of Vol 2, Day 4 and Day 5 is finished and currently going through revision.

Oh, it's being written a volume at a time! I'm glad it's not dead.
In preparation for the first half of volume two, I've updated the OP with a prospective readers guide and how I would like to structure future updates and the plan going forward.
This past year, I've learned that I'm not cut out for serialization and updating every two weeks. Instead, every month, I'll put up a progress report detailing what has been done for the volume, what I did that month, and what will be done the following month.
Currently the first half of vol 2 is halfway done with beta and I'll be making the final revisions soon. A month after those chapters are posted will be the first progress report.
I've also put the final touches on volume 1. Like a true TM LN here are some sheets. The links have been added to the OP's table of contents:
Servant Profiles
Participant Reports
I've complied the entire volume into a pdf which you can download and share in case you don't like reading on a forum.
When volume 2 finishes there will also be a pdf. The sheets for volume 2 will come out with the last chapter of volume 2.
Enjoy

The links in your post here for the Servant Profiles and Participant Reports are giving me "access denied," and the links in the OP are giving me "no preview available, file is in owner's trash."
Might have to go back and reread this before volume 2 comes out. Either way, looking forward to it!
My Fanfiction - Almost entirely short stories and oneshots
Should be working now. Thanks for the notice.

Ah, glad to see this adventure continue. You are an incredible writer with great knowledge of TM lore and materials, a very rare combination indeed among us English-language fans.
Also, first time I've seen something from the Church's POV, but I guess that just shows how I'm still a noob.
