[Altima of the Gates]

I honestly don't understand why they still do this. Is it not apparent to everyone, company staff included, that people only watch E3 to see companies embarass themselves live, as they make a big fat public show out of how out of touch they are?

Publicity man, and sometimes any publicity is good publicity. While some are thinking of doing just private directs and closed showings, they know a overblown show is memorable and gets eyes toward you. There were very good games for Microsoft, but Keanu for Cyberpunk will have minds on that showing and be good for their stockholders. Also, the meat of the release date for FF7 Remake was shown at the FF concert, so they damn well better have Tifa at the showing today, but I am afraid it'll be mostly Marvel.

FF7 Remake looks really fun, kind of KHesque.

Tifa's redesign is not drastic but I think its minor touchups add up to be really good.. I like the bit of black on her shirt now, and I won't say no to ZR.

Mind you, I've been looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 for YEARS now. And my main complaint about the new trailer is the music, to be honest. "Bullets" is a pretty high bar to jump, but this wasn't even trying.

Eh, Keanu reeves is popular enough to hype many and that's fine. I think it's a fun surprise that they'd managed to keep under wraps. Other than that, we really don't see a lot of the actual game - though online places have already extracted lots of info, like all the stuff that comes just with standard edition.

I preferred the previous Aerith model. This Tifa looks younger. Not bad. Guess I'll have to get out of work first to see general reaction.

Regardless how good looking FF7 trailer is, as right now I wouldn't buy any Square Enix product until a year after release.

Banjo in smash is great, but there was nothing at Nintendo Direct that really wowed me. DaemonXMachina and Astral Chain are both out in a few months, No SMT, Bayo or Metroid, and while I liked BotW, a direct sequel seems odd, since the world won't have changed much. Unless they make it a classic Zelda game in the BotW world. Maybe if the released the Banjo remakes along with them in smash, I'd be more excited.

Overall there were no real surprises at any conference this year, so the entire thing feels lackluster.

BotW honestly jumped to possibly my favorite game of all time when it came out so I'm super pumped for this, like you wouldn't believe. There's the potential for a playable Zelda too, if they cut her hair so it'd fit with helmets and be easier to animate.

We were discussing E3 news in a coffee shop with some friends and someone in the next table was so hyped about the Witcher 3 Switch port he came over to talk to us about it. It was pretty funny since none of us has a Switch and our reactions was basically "oh that's cool I guess??".

I am way more excited for BOTW 2 than Keanu in Cyberpunk or Tifa's remake design. Elden Ring also has me foaming at the mouth in the best way.
