Well due to a certain elderly couple holding up the grocery line at the slowest cashier in the world-! Unfortunately I will not be able to big post today and still be nice and functional for work in the morning.

So let's see if I can start something to get to know the characters better. Here are 20 random bits of info on Micah:

1. She's 19. Sort of.
2. She's a virgin.
3. She created a moderately-successful indie sci-fantasy webcomic called Die Verlorenen und Verlassenen under the screen name ShadesofGrey. The work was incomplete at the time of her death and produced more than its fair share of rumors and theories among the fanbase.
4. She received an acceptance letter from Savannah College of Art and Design. She hadn't decided whether or not to actually attend, and had been considering pursuing higher education in the direction of STEM fields, particularly quantum physics or applied technology.
5. She died as a tragic result of a long-time
   stalker

   trying to blackmail her into a relationship/date/noods. That she died from this stunt may actually lead to his suicide.
6. Her artistic work has once been called the unholy bastard spawn of Andrew Hussie, Kentaro Miura, Chalo, Kenkou Cross, Tsutomu Nihei, and H. R. Giger. It's also been described as a "gateway drug" for furry fandom. It's characterized by highly-detailed backgrounds, graphic depictions of violence and sexuality, rich, vivid colors, and Caravaggio-like use of deep shadow and bright lighting to both produce sharp contrast and blurred boundaries. Her writing is sometimes compared to a more explicit Glen Cook in his Black Company series. This has lead to the widespread misconception that ShadesofGrey is male, as she's revealed nothing of her actual identity in her work and the styles are more associated with and targeted towards that gender.
7. She's abnormally athletic, especially for someone who spends so much time behind a screen.
8. She has overdeveloped Bartholins Glands and unusually strong muscles, which can lead to messes and embarrassing situations...
9. Especially since she has a high libido and a filthy mind...
10. However, she's also cripplingly shy...
11. And has some weird interests and trauma that have prevented her from ever forming a romantic relationship.
12. She rarely speaks above a whisper, and usually as little as possible. Her inner voice is significantly more coarse.
13. She believed in magic and the supernatural before her death.
14. She struggled with depression throughout her life, but experienced some sort of unidentified mental breakdown in high school for reasons that defy diagnosis, resulting in what's considered a sort of fugue state with elements of savantism. The abrupt and ongoing change in behavior, preferences, and performance has placed a strain on her home life, especially between her and her younger sister.
15. She speaks German, but very, very badly.
16. She has a number of online personas and tags that she uses to hide her real identity and professional work and separate them from her other activities, including her indie tag ShadesofGrey, ShadesofGay, and a host of others.
17. She runs a website that hosts art of a questionable sort.
18. She sometimes joins H-RPs on reddit, but not as often as she once did.
19. She loves seafood and rice dishes.
20. She likes clothes that have a relaxed feel to them and isn't concerned with fashion trends, makeup, or the like, only what she thinks looks decent and doesn't get in the way. The only exception to this rule is her glasses, which are entirely cosmetic.

@twelve: I tend to make simple/shallow chars and then develop them in the IC through 75% monologue posts, so I am afraid I cannot compile an in-depth list as of now. Maybe once we get deeper into the story!

@hero: No problem This is just something I did for fun, and to serve as a thought/conversation provoker when it comes to our characters. I tend to try to think of characters as "already being people," by the time a story like this happens, with some having more experience than others. Weird little quirks and attributes like this help me figure out what feels in-character for them and to make them feel more dynamic and "real," to me. And thanks~
